Recent comments by the UN’s top climate scientist are very positive for Mantra Venture Group and even more promising for investors that are wise enough to buy these shares at the current price level.  In its benchmark 2007 report, the IPCC said that the key to preventing dangerous global warming was to keep CO2 concentrations below 450 ppm.

Now, the UN’s top scientist has supported a goal of getting CO2 concentrations below 350 ppm.

Recently, the U.S. Department of Energy said on Monday it has awarded $27.6 million of funding to evaluate the potential risks of storing carbon dioxide underground, which is seen as a way to control global warming. Even if CO2 storage technology was a viable, long term solution, the world still needs additional technologies such as Mantra’s solution to meet these ambitious goals.
